Sponge Cake Easy Recipe

This is a Sponge Cake Asian style made in a rice cooker.

Ingredients:
• 6 Egg
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1/3 cup whole milk
• 1/4 cup oil
• 2/3 cup all-purpose sifted flour
• 1/8 tsp of salt

Instructions:
1. Separate egg whites and egg yolks into two different bowls.
2. Whisk milk, oil, and egg yolks together
3. Sift flour and salt into the bowl and mix
4. Beat egg whites until stiff peaks (add 1/3 of the sugar at different intervals)
5. Combine egg whites and egg yolk mixture.
6. Pour the mixture into the rice cooker. And set for “rice” cook. Depending on your rice cooker, you may have to do this 2 times.
8. To check if the cake is ready, insert a toothpick. If you remove the toothpick and it is clean then the cake is ready.
9. Take the cake out of the rice cooker and let it cool completely.
